Poppies for Remembrance

Knitting to Remember

A group of knitters are knitting poppies to commemorate the men from the Warmington benefice who served in World War I - those who died and those who returned.  This is a huge commitment as in Warmington alone there are 135 men named on the Roll of Honour.  But the knitting pattern is very easy.  Would you like to join in the knitting?  You just need to be able to cast on/off, knit and purl.  If you would like to take part or if you have any questions about the knitted poppies, please complete the form below and it will be sent to the organiser, Caroline Kisby.
