We're delighted to introduce ourselves to you through the pages of this website. Even better, we'd love to meet you in person! Here's a little bit about who we are and what we're about; and also what to expect if you come to see us at a Sunday service. Please get in touch if you have any other questions at all.

Welcome to the Warmington Benefice which is made up of five parishes: Warmington, Tansor, Cotterstock, Fotheringhay and Southwick.  Each church has a regular pattern of worship.  You can check the services and other events on the calendar.

Why are we here?

The benefice churches are part of the Church of England. The parish system means that everyone in England has a local church which is 'theirs'. We consider it an honour and a privilege to serve our local area in this way.

We gather together as a local community to know and share God's transforming love with each other, with our local community, and with the wider world.

What do we believe?

All over the world, Christians believe that there is a God, that two thousand years ago, God touched this planet in Jesus and above all, that matters!  If you would like to find out more, please ask Rev'd Anne about the J10:10 informal and interactive 7 week course.

Your Visit

If you are visiting one of our churches for the first time, please make yourself known to a Churchwarden, Rev'd Anne Hindle or any member of our friendly congregations.  We will be pleased to welcome you and help, if necessary, with any pastoral matters. You will find the utmost care taken over Baptism, Wedding and Funeral services

Weekly Pew Sheet

Please take a copy of the weekly pew sheet home with you.  This gives information about forthcoming services and events as well as a prayer and Bible readings.
