Welcome to the Warmington Benefice which is made up of five parishes in Northamptonshire: Cotterstock, Fotheringhay, Southwick, Tansor and Warmington.  You will find details of services in the calendar

Why are we here?

The benefice churches are part of the Church of England. The parish system means that everyone in England has a local church which is 'theirs'. We consider it an honour and a privilege to serve our local area in this way.

We gather together as a local community to know and share God's transforming love with each other, with our local community, and with the wider world.

What do we believe?

All over the world, Christians believe that there is a God who, two thousand years ago, touched this planet in Jesus and above all, that matters.  Belief in God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit is at the heart of our faith.  Christinas believe that Jesus is God's son.  Jesus reveals to us that God is our Father, and that God is available to us through the Holy Spirit.

You won't be asked if you completely understand all this.  But you are asked whether you believe and trust.  This is called faith.  It is a different sort of knowledge.  It is the knowledge of being known and loved, and of loving in return.
