Lent 2026 – A Journey Through the Gospel of Mark
During Lent in the Warmington Benefice we will be taking a close look at the Gospel of Mark. The shortest of the four Gospel accounts, Mark tells his readers the important and most significant details he feels they need to know about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. As part of our own Lenten journey, we can use Mark’s Gospel as a guide to help us understand more about the Jesus we come to worship, and why his story is still so important in the 21st Century.
I will be holding four (possibly five) sessions during Lent, beginning on Thursday 19th February at 10.30am. Sessions will be held at the vicarage at 4, Stamford Lane, Warmington PE8 6TW.
