Monumental Inscriptions in Warmington Churchyard and Warmington Cemetery

Warmington Cemetery, in Broadgate Way, was consecrated in 1926 and most burials in Warmington since then have been at the cemetery.  The churchyard was officially closed in April 1932.  There is no churchyard plan but you will find the cemetery plan at the cemetery gate.

All the headstones in the churchyard have been photographed and the inscriptions, where they are legible, have been recorded.  The effects of the weather, lichen and moss have made a large proportion of them illegible.  Where it has been possible to read the inscription confidently, these have been recorded online at Find A Grave

A similar project is on-going for Warmington Cemetery which was consecrated in 1926.  You will find these records at FindAGrave in the section for Warmington Cemetery
