Anne Cotton’s illustrated talk “Marching On” was about the impact of World War 1 on boot and shoe manufacturing in Northamptonshire, the changing role of women in the industry and the history of the family business during this time. It was very quickly a sell-out and we are so grateful to Anne for making it such a special occasion.
