When we decided to stage a WW1 and WW2 exhibition in Church, we did not imagine that so many fascinating, treasured items were hiding behind doors in Cotterstock. After just one email to villagers the most wonderful array of memorabilia was discovered. We are so grateful to villagers and their friends for allowing us to display such treasured artifacts and trusting us to do justice to their stories. Visitors came from as far away as Devon and Coltishall to see family items on display - “to say their names is to let them live again”. Thank you to all the people who helped to set up the exhibition, to dismantle it and to those who acted as stewards over the three days; we could not have done it without you.
